This Website is managed by Old Scholars of Wynstones School in Gloucester, UK, and all of the pictures and images have been made available by other Old Scholars, Teachers, and friends.

Search your school pictures by year
The pictures are filed by YEAR, and by 'clicking' a year at the top of the screen, you will see 'thumbnails' of all the pictures available for that year. By 'clicking on any 'thumbnail' picture you will see an enlarged version together with all the detail about it, which you are free to print out if you require.

Find an old friend!
At the left you will see a 'People Picture Search' facility where you can key in the name (or part) of a friend, and the system will show you every picture that contains a view of your friend.

Adding your pictures
If you have any pictures of your Wynstones school years, we would like to publish them on this Website. We need to know as many subject's names as possible on each picture for the 'People Searcher'. You can send them by email attachment as scanned JPEGs together with text notes about content. The scanned images should be at 200 pixels/inch, and the picture file size should be no more than 0.5 megabyte. Please send to wynstones@alanrowntree.co.uk.

Lost a Friend's contact details?
If you want to contact an old friend, we will do our best to help you. Go to the 'Contact a Friend' page and fill in the form there. Please check that your own details are up to date too, otherwise this facility is not available to you.

SCHOOL 75th ANNIVERSARY - YOUR VIEWS PLEASE

2012 is not only Olympic Year, it is a very significant year for Wynstones - the 75th anniversary of its beginnings in 1937.

Many Old Scholars will remember the very successful 65th anniversary when many of us met old friends and joined the school in a celebration which included the fire at Midsummer Festival - something we all remember from our days at school.

We have been asked to get the view of Old Scolars about doing this again in 2012.
